Our Menu

At Ladybugs our Chef is committed to serving children not only healthy but also yummy meals on a daily basis, which includes morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. We follow the Australian Dietary Guidelines to help all children maintain a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet daily.

We also work with families to provide dishes for children with allergies, as well as children with cultural preferences. Our centre implements the ‘Munch and Move’ program in order to help children maintain healthy lifestyles. Our healthy meals include a variety of:

•  Fresh vegetables and legumes

•  Seasonal fruit

•  Whole grains and seeds

•  Lean fresh meat and fish (HALAL certified)

•  Dairy options

•  Meals with special dietary requirements are prepared

Menu Notes

• Food will be available in between meals for children who require this.
• Water is available to all children at all times throughout the day.
• All meals and menus take into account multiculturalism and various multicultural foods have been chosen for our menus.
• All nursery children will have access to purred fruit and mashed lunch meals to meet their development.
